QUVI

Privacy Policy

Effective August 12, 2026 · Applies to the Quvi app for iPhone and this website

Quvi is operated by Quvi Technologies LLC (“Quvi,” “we”), the data controller for the information described here. Quvi is currently offered in the United States.

The short version

Quvi is a calorie and macro tracker. We collect what we need to run the app and keep your tracking in sync — nothing more. There are no ads and no third-party analytics in Quvi. We never sell your personal data, we never share it for advertising, and we never use your health, food, or activity data to build advertising profiles or train advertising systems. Quvi is a tracking tool, not medical advice.

What we collect

How we use it

To provide the tracker: estimate calories and macros for what you log (estimates are computed on Quvi's servers), show your day and history, sync your data across your devices, and keep the service secure and working. That's the full list today. If it ever changes, we'll update this page — and for material changes, we'll say so in the app. Calorie and macro figures are estimates, and you can always adjust what Quvi records.

Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you connect it, Quvi reads only the categories you approve — read-only — to show your activity alongside what you've eaten. Health data is used only to show you your own numbers. It is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising or marketing, and never used to build profiles of any kind. You can disconnect at any time in Quvi's Settings or in the iOS Health app.

Your health information

What you log in Quvi — food, weight, workouts, fasting — is health-related information, and we treat it with the same care as the Apple Health data above: it is used only to provide the tracker to you, and it is never sold, shared for advertising, or used for profiling. Where state law gives you specific rights over consumer health data, you can exercise them through the export and deletion tools below or by emailing us.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored by Quvi using infrastructure hosted by Fly.io in the United States, and is encrypted in transit and at rest. A small number of service providers help run Quvi: Fly.io (hosting), Cloudflare (this website, domain, and email routing), and Apple (sign-in and TestFlight). They process data only to provide services on Quvi's behalf, subject to their contractual obligations and applicable law. Within Quvi, access to user data is limited to what's necessary to operate and support the service.

Retention, export & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. In the app, Settings → Data & Privacy lets you export your data at any time and delete your account, which permanently removes your account and logged data from our active systems right away, except where we're legally required to retain certain records. Residual copies in short-lived backups expire automatically.

When we may disclose information

We don't share your personal data except with the service providers above — or if we're legally required to, such as in response to a valid legal request. If Quvi is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we'll notify users before any material change to how personal information is handled takes effect.

Beta testing (TestFlight)

If you use Quvi through Apple's TestFlight and choose to send feedback, Apple shares that feedback with us — including any screenshot you attach and basic device information — so we can fix problems. Beta builds may change or reset features as Quvi develops.

Children

Quvi is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and note the new effective date. For material changes we'll also say so in the app.
